Laurea graduates from 2019 par­tic­i­pate in career monitoring survey

The national career monitoring survey of universities of applied sciences collects information on the employability of graduates and their satisfaction with their careers and degrees.

What is the work and career situation like for graduates of universities of applied sciences five years after graduation? Does the competence gained from UAS studies carry over into working life?  

The national career monitoring survey of universities of applied sciences collects information on the employability of graduates and their satisfaction with their careers and degrees. The career monitoring survey will be sent on 10.10. to all 2019 bachelor's and master's degree graduates by email and SMS. 

The career monitoring survey has gained its place as part of stakeholder feedback from universities of applied sciences. The alumni responding to the survey as a potential partner of universities of applied sciences and users of continuous learning services. The valuable information they provide informs about changes taking place in working life, for example, and thus gives signals for the development of the quality of education and continuous learning services. 

The results of the survey provide valuable insight to current students, as it allows them to plan their careers and consider different career paths, for example. 

The results of the survey also have a direct impact on the funding of higher education institutions. Based on the results, the Ministry of Education and Culture allocates 3% of the core funding to universities of applied sciences.
