Vastaanottava AMK - valtakunnallisesti rasismia vastaan

The Receptive University of Applied Sciences - Nationwide action against racism (VARAVA) -project aims at developing the UAS towards more receptive learning and working environment despite of the students' or staff's ethnic and cultural background. The project tackles barriers that non-European students might encounter when trying to settle in Finland. The main focus is on (1) enhancing ways to identify, recognize and combat any phenomena of structural racism, and (2) developing anti-racist conduct in the Finnish UAS. The project is funded by the European Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) and project partners, the three UAS: Laurea, Seinäjoki and Tampere,, and Lyfta PLC.
