Reskill Revolution: Pioneering Change in Adult Education
Funded by Erasmus+ KA3, RESKILL REVOLUTION is an international project focusing on developing micro courses for individuals to upskill them to enter the service sector in the EU. The training is both available on vocational and higher education level, and certificates are received on completed training. The project runs during 2025-2028. The partners in the project are: Laurea (coordinator), Mesensei Oy, Klaipeda University Lithuania, HR Consulting Lithuania, Kiel UAS Germany, WSG Poland, Link University Campus Italy and CETT in Spain.

TOTTE – Täsmäosaamisella työelämään ja työelämässä eteenpäin
The project TOTTE of Laurea and YES ry tackles the labour market mismatch problem by developing the identification and definition of the core competence needs needed in work tasks and by developing the identification and visibility of the competence of an employee or potential employee. Development is carried out in the competence networks assembled in the project, and the outputs are competence cards, a competence map tool, a career description model, short documentary videos and a documented development process description.

Kiertotalouden TKI-boosteri
The circular economy RDI booster brings a workplace-oriented RDI model to companies. In the model, the company's circular economy challenges or opportunities are identified, after which the company's personnel are trained to implement a circular economy RDI project. As a result of the project, the company will receive researched information on the circular economy opportunities in its own industry. The reported results can be used to develop innovative products or services for which the project utilises the Biodesign product development process. As a result of the project, the company will develop permanent circular economy expertise or new products and services. The project is implemented by Laurea (main implementer) and Metropolia. The project cooperates with Laurea's Circular Economy Living Lab.

The ENOT project (Anticipated Skills for Working Life) (ESF funding 1/2025 – 5/2027) aims to develop a collaborative model for workplaces and an accompanying workplace pedagogy guide to promote staff skills development through the use of digital tools. The project’s objectives include promoting sustainable employment, advancing workplace pedagogy and skills coaching, addressing the skills needs of companies, and utilizing digital solutions for skills recognition and knowledge transfer. The project is implemented by Laurea University of Applied Sciences, Forum Virium Helsinki, and Stadin AO (Helsinki Vocational College).

Vaikuttavat verkostot (Networking and International Partnerships for Companies) -project promotes the networking of companies in Uusimaa and other actors in the region's innovation ecosystem as well as access to European R&D funding, thus producing innovations that promote the green transition in the region. In particular, the project activates SMEs to promote the green transition in the value network of food, food tourism and construction sectors. The project is financed by the European Rural Development Fund 2023–2027. The project is implemented by Laurea-ammattikorkeakoulu Oy in cooperation with the municipality of Lapinjärvi.

Vauhtia innovaatioille – Vantaan innovaatiokiihdyttämö
The goal is to develop a business model for an Innovation Accelerator at the Competence Campus (Osaamiskampus) being built in Tikkurila. The necessary background information for accelerating innovation activities among actors in the Vantaa region (public administration, educational institutions, companies) will be gathered and analyzed Through interviews and workshops. The project supports the strengthening of development and innovation cooperation among R&D actors in Vantaa and the wider Uusimaa region, and it also promotes international activities. The planned Innovation Accelerator will be integrated into and support the development of Vantaa's pilot and experimental environments.

ARCSAR - Arctic and North Atlantic Security and Emergency Preparedness Network
ARCSAR is a five-year project funded by the EU Horizon2020 Research and Innovation Programme. The project is lead by Joint Rescue Coordination Center Northern Norway (JRCC NN) including 21 partners from 13 differents countries. The ARCSAR network will address the Arctic and North-Atlantic (ANA) region, preparing to cope with the Security and safety threats that will result from increased commercial activity in the region including traffic through the Northern passages, cruise traffic, and offshore oil and gas activity. This project will establish the first formal Arctic and North Atlantic Security and Emergency Preparedness Network. The network will be primarily for professional security and emergency response practitioners operating in the Arctic and the North-Atlantic region.

The project “Development and strengthening of RDI collaboration in the Uusimaa region” promotes RDI knowledge increasing European funding in the region. Multilateral cooperation – especially towards companies - is developed to create grounds for formation of RDI partnerships emphasizing the international viewpoint. In this way, the sufficiency of innovation funding is secured for actors in the Uusimaa region so that the readiness for success in highly competed EU funding increases. At the same time, the massive deteriorating economic effects of the Covid-19 pandemic are taken into account in Uusimaa – a region strongly international and export-driven.

Mission Positive Handprint
Enhancing resilience is the main goal of the project and a cross cutting theme in the project plan. In addition, the goal of the project is to support green transition and the renewal of the restaurant sector through co-creation, peer learning, by utilizing digital tools and by developing marketing.
