Accessiblity at Leppävaara Campus
Directions
Laurea’s Leppävaara campus has three accessible parking spaces. The accessible parking spaces are located near the covered walkway at Vanha maantie 9, Espoo. The covered walkway leads to the main entrance. The accessible parking spaces are closest to the main entrance in the parking area. All accessible parking spaces are marked with a wheelchair signpost and one of them also has a wheelchair symbol on the asphalt.
Pick-up and drop-off traffic is allowed to stop directly in front of the main entrance at Vanha maantie 9, Espoo.
You can wait for pick-up traffic under the canopy in front of the door.
Information on the entrances
Laurea’s Leppävaara campus has two accessible entrances. The main entrance leads to the 1st floor lobby. The doors of the main entrance are not automatic. The entrance has a threshold equipped with a ramp. You might need help in opening the heavy doors if you are using mobility aids. The entrance of stairway B leads to the elevator lobby on the ground floor. There are no thresholds at the door. The doors are not automatic.
The floors in front of the entrances and the vestibules are even. The main entrance is partly covered with a canopy.
Interior
The information billboard of Laurea’s Leppävaara campus is located immediately after the main entrance, near the café in the lobby. The service point for the campus is the office of the facilities’ superintendents. To find the office from the main entrance, turn right when you reach the café in the lobby. After turning right, walk straight along the corridor and past the kampusparkki facilities. The office of the facilities’ superintendents is located on the left after the kampusparkki facilities.
As a mobility environment, the Leppävaara campus is mostly accessible. The campus offers unimpeded access to all facilities. The campus has an elevator. The elevator offers access to all floors.
Accessible toilets
Laurea’s Leppävaara campus has three accessible toilets. Two of the accessible toilets are located on the ground floor. The toilets on the ground floor are located near the lunch and teaching restaurants. The third accessible toilet is located on the first floor next to the main lobby.
