Arrival and orientation

Orientation day 22 August 2024 (organised at Leppävaara campus)
We recommend arriving in Finland at least couple days before orientation or your first lecture. Please check your teaching schedule before purchasing flights.
Lectures may start August 12 at the earliest. If you need to take part in exams in August which would delay your arrival, you can ask Laurea's international services to monitor your exams in Finland.
In addition to the joint orientation day, we organize degree-specific meetings with the academic coordinators
The orientation programme is designed to help new incoming exchange students to settle in and start their studies at Laurea University of Applied Sciences. Orientations days include important information such as university practices, student services and housing.
We strongly recommend that all incoming exchange students participate in the orientation days.
