Functional bilingual education for Nursing study groups starting year 2026

Laurea UAS have decided that the international separate application nursing groups starting in year 2026 will be implemented as functional bilingual education. No prior knowledge of Finnish is required

This means that there will be no pathway studies; instead, each course will include Finnish language studies alongside the subject-specific studies. No prior knowledge of Finnish is required.

This is a pilot for the year 2026, and its outcomes will be evaluated during the following year.

Applicants will be admitted directly into degree-awarding education
