Academic year 2024-2025
Registration for the academic year 2024–2025 is 1.-30.4.2024.
(Alteration of spring 2025 registration as present or absent during 1.11.–31.12.2024.)
The academic year 2024–2025 begins on 1.8.2024 and ends on 31.7.2025.
Teaching in autumn 2024 begins at the earliest on 12.8.2024 and in spring 2025 at the earliest on 7.1.2024 as specified in the study unit implementation plan.
Schedules for study offering
Laurea offers studies year-round. The preliminary study offering for each year is published in the beginning of September, which means that the study offering for 2025 is published in September 2024. Changes can be made to the study offering for example based on demand. Study unit and project implementation plans and schedules are available online at the latest two weeks before the enrolment period begins (see curricula and timetable engine)
Enrolment for studies (begins at 8.00 and ends at 23.59):
- Study offering for autumn term: Week 21 (20.–26.5.2024)
- Study offering for spring term: Week 48 (25.11.–1.12.2024)
- Summer studies: Week 14 (31.3.–6.4.2025)
- Study offering for autumn term 2025: Week 21 (19.–25.5.2025) (for studies in the academic year 2024–2025)
Enrolments are confirmed within a week after the enrolment period has ended.
There is no more a separate enrolment period for late autumn and spring studies.
Post-enrolment
If there are places left in a study unit or project after the enrolment period has ended, the enrolment period may be continued. The decision to open studies for post-enrolment is done on a case-by-case basis while enrolments are being checked. Post-enrolments are confirmed at the latest during the week before the implementation begins.
Schedule for updating and approving personal study plans (PSPs)
The student must update their PSP during October and March on Pakki. By scheduling studies in your PSP you express what studies you wish to take. Little changes can be made before enrolment starts based on the study offering, implementation plans and study schedules.
The students’ PSPs will be automatically approved on Friday before the enrolment for spring and autumn studies starts that is on 17.5.2024, on 22.11.2024 and on 16.5.2025. Please note that all changes to be approved must be done latest on previous day.
Please note that PSPs are not approved before the enrolment for late spring, summer and late autumn studies starts. You should take this into account and plan your study wishes well in advance.

Graduation and Graduation Ceremony
The notice of graduation form can be filled out when all the required studies are in the study register. As a rule, you will receive your certificate within two weeks after filling out the form. For more information see student intranet.

Teaching in autumn 2025 begins at the earliest on 11.8.2025 and in spring 2026 at the earliest on 7.1.2026 as specified in the study unit implementation plan.
