Scholarship Application at Laurea for Students Engaged in Competitive Sports
At Laurea, we recognize the critical time overlap between a sports career and studies. We aim to support the flexible combination of studying and sports, while promoting student well-being by expanding our scholarship system, which rewards academic success, to also include students pursuing a sports career.
We want to create opportunities for athletes not only to succeed in their sports careers but also to adapt to working life later on, with the skills gained through education.
The scholarship amount ranges from 1,000 to 2,000 euros. The selection of supported athletes will be based on the level of ambition in sports, the need for financial support, and academic success. Applicants' academic performance will be checked in Laurea's academic records.
The application period for the scholarship is from October 7th to October 18th, 2024. Laurea's strategic communications team will select the supported athletes based on the applications, in collaboration with the university’s athlete liaison. The cooperation will include specific communication actions to be agreed upon separately.
