Laurea is an active partner in many international expert networks. These networks support Laurea’s mission in delivering high quality international education while partnering with connections with expertise in areas addressed by our education offer.
This assures us with competent knowledge in all what we do and most importantly, connections to the most influential partners who can enrich our education and learning activities, research and development projects and cooperation in other practices that boost competence in students and staff.

ENoLL
The European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL) is an international network of open innovation ecosystems, comprising over 150 active living labs. Laurea has taken part in developing living lab activities, and Director Tuija Hirvikoski (retired) from Laurea has acted as the Chair of ENoLL from 2015 for about five years.

EOS
The European Organisation for Security (EOS) was established in 2007. Its members represent various players in the security industry from 13 European countries. As the first European higher education institution, Laurea became a member of the EOS network in 2015.

ESDC
The European Security and Defense College (ESDC). Supported by the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Laurea became a member of the ESDC in 2016. ESDC membership offers extensive co-operation and networking opportunities with leading European education institutions in the field of security.

FSA
The Finnish Service Alliance (FSA) aims to promote Finnish service research and broaden its application in companies and public organisations. Laurea’s experts and alumni have been actively involved in the network’s operations.

The European Facility Management Network (EuroFM) is a European network that links higher education institutions, researchers, companies and associations in the field of facility management.

SDN
The Service Design Network (SDN), founded in 2004, is the leading platform designed to connect you with passionate, like-minded service designers who hail from agencies, companies and universities, in addition to the curious innovators who embrace and apply this approach to the betterment of their organisations and the community at-large.

ERRIN
Started in 2001 as an informal network, ERRIN is a well-established Brussels-based platform of more than 130 regional stakeholder organisations from 24 European countries, most of whom are represented by their Brussels offices. Through our 13 Working Groups, ERRIN works with research and innovation in a very comprehensive way, promoting triple and quadruple helix cooperation approaches and the importance of regional innovation ecosystems.

ECSO
The European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) ASBL is a fully self-financed non-for-profit organisation under the Belgian law, established in June 2016.
ECSO represents the industry-led contractual counterpart to the European Commission for the implementation of the Cyber Security contractual Public-Private Partnership (cPPP). ECSO members include a wide variety of stakeholders such as large companies, SMEs and Start-ups, research centres, universities, end-users, operators, clusters and association as well as European Member State’s local, regional and national administrations, countries part of the European Economic Area (EEA) and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) and H2020 associated countries.

UARCTIC
The University of the Arctic (UArctic) is a cooperative network of universities, colleges, research institutes and other organizations concerned with education and research in and about the North. UArctic builds and strengthens collective resources and collaborative infrastructure that enables member institutions to better serve their constituents and their regions. Through cooperation in education, research and outreach we enhance human capacity in the North, promote viable communities and sustainable economies, and forge global partnerships.

PSCE
Public Safety Communications Europe Forum (PSCE) was established as a result of a European Commission funded project in 2008. Since then, PSCE has evolved into an independent forum, where representatives of public safety user organisations, industry and research institutes can meet to discuss and exchange ideas and best practices, develop roadmaps and improve the future of public safety communications. PSCE is a permanent autonomous organisation, working to foster excellence in the development and use of public safety communication and information management systems by consensus building.

Arctic Drone Labs
Arctic Drone Labs is a drone application ecosystem based in Finland. In our network, active partners can pilot innovations and novel solutions. Drones are used as integration points for developing industry level technology and data collection from different application areas.

Erasmus network
Laurea, as many other institutions in Europe is a part of Erasmus network which support the internationalization of our Institution in various level. Laurea conducts mobility activities, Research and blended or short programme and project with the support of Erasmus each year.
