Graduation Ceremony

Registration 

Laurea's graduation ceremonies will be held in five parts at the Leppävaara campus on 4.-5.2026. The Graduation ceremony will honor all students graduating in June 2026, as well as those who have completed their studies since the previous Graduation ceremony. The celebration will be held in the Timo Auditorium on campus, and after the event, a non-alcoholic congratulatory toast will be served to the graduates and their guests.

Participation in the celebration requires pre-registration from the graduates. Registration ends on May 31th at 23.59. The registration link has been published on the student intranet and in the outgoing email message sent to students who have submitted their graduation notification. If you are graduating but haven’t yet submitted your graduation notification, you can still register for the ceremony. Each graduating student can invite two guests to the ceremony.

The ceremonies are organized by degree programs 

Graduation ceremonies will be held in five parts, celebrations 1, 2 and 3 held on Thursday, June 4th, and celebrations 4 and 5 held on Friday, June 5th. The ceremonies are organized by degree programs, please see below:

Dress rehearsal & gowns

The dress rehearsal is mandatory for all graduating students participating in the ceremony. During the rehearsal, the event proceedings will be reviewed, and the arriving graduates will be alphabetized.

Graduates will receive Laurea gowns and Laurea graduation caps upon arriving on campus on the day of the celebration. The gown is on loan to the student for the duration of the event and must be returned afterward, but the graduation cap is theirs to keep. The gowns and caps are free of charge for the students.

Arriving at the Leppävaara campus 

Due to limited venue capacity, up to two guests per graduate are kindly requested to arrive at earliest half an hour before the ceremony starts. Guests will be invited to the auditorium after the dress up rehearsal, approximately 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony.
