Welcome to the springtime Blooming with AI seminar at Laurea’s Hyvinkää campus on 21 April 2026. This event is intended for companies interested in collaborating with higher education institutions, as well as Laurea’s key and partner organizations. The event is in English.

The purpose of the seminar is to showcase Laurea’s unique P2P project-based learning model and the amazing key partners who make it possible. The event is organized by Laurea’s business students at the Hyvinkää campus.
The event begins in Rauhala Hall with an opening speech by Principal Jouni Koski. The keynote speaker is Rebecca Allen, Ph.D., Chair and Assistant Professor of Computer Science & Mathematics from the Mount St. Joseph University. The other speaker will be confirmed later.

Customer-Oriented Business
In customer-oriented business, the expectations and needs of the client company guide all activities. The goal is to create value for the customer by understanding their challenges and objectives. This approach aims to respond effectively and with a customer-centered mindset.

Marketing Projects
Marketing projects are structured entities designed to strengthen a company’s, product’s, or service’s marketing and market position. Projects may involve market research, campaigns, social media strategies, events, or product launches. The student team works with the client from planning to execution and final presentation of the results.

HR and Financial Administration
HR projects involve topics related to management and human resource administration. The client defines project-specific details based on their needs.

International Projects
Laurea's Hyvinkää campus conducts international service design, digital marketing, and sales projects for domestic and foreign companies. Collaboration with exchange students strengthens students’ international networks and supports companies in internationalization by offering new perspectives.
The goal is to develop students’ abilities to design, implement, and evaluate service design projects using service design methods, as well as to promote sustainable practices within organizations.
